However, this is not possible today. Plagiarism is a cyber crime and it is also an ethical sin as you steal the words of an author without giving him/her any credit for the effort.

The easiest way to find about plagiarism is to copy the sentence into the search engine and it will let you know all the websites where it is present on the WWW. Now, in this online world, where news comes on the scene as soon as it occurs, people want unique words from you. You become credible, if you produce new material for every subject.

In educational institutions and corporate sectors, you are appreciated only when you bring your own research in your own words. Be creative and use the internet wisely to always produce your own words for every subject in mind.

If one can think about selecting a good material from good articles, then why not spent time to write your own? In a way you are just letting your self down with nothing better.

Plagiarism, there is no sense of achievement; you are copying in term of cheating with your self and others; and losing your self-confidence unintentionally. The point where you can gain so much, you just put your self forward for get nothing, just being unethical, not loyal to your self, and thief, not the simple one, literature thief.

Do you know what word literature stands for? It is about Creativity, Some bodies’ uniqueness in style and imagination full of reflection for their own personality in words. Do you know what you are doing by creating replicate and being immoral in the society? Plagiarism On Internet: Being Creative But Conscious

How you discriminate author’s creativity from the duplicity of the cheaters work? How you explain the word plagiarism? Plagiarism is like polluting author’s creativity by adding unauthorized patchwork, sometime paraphrasing and directly imitating the original work then afterward claiming the ownership. This immoral act of theft and deceiving comes under copyright act supported by law and basic values of decency. In my opinion Plagiarism is a term for induced consciousness for the wrong deed of stealing, imitating, and duplicating someone writings, in a simple word it is called by so many a “literary theft”.

As the technology grows, by the side of positivisms, emerging aspects related with negative uses of this advantageous technology is increasing; also taking place within the environment you are living and working. You must have faced some unpleasant experiences, in real world where people trick people which sometimes barely tolerable; same happen on the provided facility of internet the world on your laps.

The Computers, internet, online, download, upload, and so many other words related with this machine we heard in our daily life now. Where we are having the benefits of improve knowledge in regard of hundreds of topics, consequently, we are lacking the physical activity to search the libraries and other mean of information to satisfy the literary thirst. Internet is the easiest source to upgrade information and knowledge by clicking and fixing your eyes on one screen changing rapidly page by page, copy and past.

All over the world people are doing different kinds of creative efforts, every body is trying on their level best to create something unique, like unheard and unsaid. In all this process would it be possible that you and I can create piece of work which sound and meant same along similar perspective. What would we call it a copy or just coincidence. But this coincidence would make you pay a lot, your dignity, your ethics and your liability. Are you ready to control these accidents or you don’t care what’s going on?

Style is something which reflects your inner self, your very personal asset and steeling it from you is an unthinkable act. But do you believe, in the world of up and coming science and technology, whereas lots of other unethical trait are taking place, as the same time steeling your originality is another factor. If you are an emotional writer with professionalism then your work and your writings must be an element of you. You must be very sensitive about the ownership of your writings.

Is it difficult to save up your self from the effects of plagiarism? Is it possible to overcome this problem of theft and dishonesty with self conscious efforts? Why people are still practicing such acts after knowing about the antidote of it? If we talk about the antidote of plagiarism, then we have the solution to overpower this theft ands make our self free from the tension of thievery, other then that, we can check our own piece of literature to avoid similarity.

Blessing in disguise, in my opinion knowing about plagiarism is beneficial in term of improvements as well as innovation which help you in your thinking and guide you through the motivational thought process. Here I am not supporting the idea of plagiarism, rather my point is how much one can write differently, how much uniqueness one can bring in his/her writing style. Plagiarism is the factor which could click you for new pattern of writing.  A person who plays with words know how it feels like writing productively and pleasure of having exclusive rights on self written paragraphs.

So better keep your focus on creating new write-up, rather getting affected psychologically and emotionally with these burglary scenarios. This is the duty of law, to develop conduct for check and balance in copyright law, for original ideas as intellectual property and the material lifted by theft and fraud. This is also a responsibility of the people who profoundly belongs to this informational technology through which they are transporting the awareness and providing the comfort in one place.

Avoiding plagiarism is not difficult if you are a person with honest consciousness, understanding the morals of life will guide you all the way through to find new ways to learn and take the charge of your self morality. You are a student or a teacher, a worker or a boss, a writer or a researcher, wherever you are standing in the filed of life you need to hold on a basic human values to avoid creating harm and unpleasantness in others achievements.

Difference Between Plagiarism and Citation

Plagiarism and citation are often linked together in writing and publishing industry. Where citation is considered as intellectual honesty, plagiarism is taken as an intellectual offence. To clearly understand the difference between the two it is important that we should have a clear understanding about what these terms actually mean.

Plagiarism is derived from a Latin word meaning “to kidnap”. Plagiarism is referred as copying and using somebody’s words, thoughts and ideas and the like. The person, who copies, presents the copied work as his own and takes all the credit of the work.

On the contrary Citation is basically providing a reference. Citation is giving acknowledgment to any one whose research has been taken and utilized to support your work. Citation is usually expressed in abbreviated form. Its details are given in bibliographic references. Citation includes title of the source, author’s name, publisher’s name and the date of publishing. If the intellectual work is taken from internet the link of the website needs to be included in citation.

When you provide citation or proper references, you are actually acknowledging another person’s work. You are not only giving credit to his intellectual work but you are also admitting that you have utilised that person’s work to support your writing. However, when you do not provide references of the work, that you have used, you are committing a serious moral and intellectual offense – plagiarism. In plagiarism you basically hide the fact that you have taken help from some one’s work.

Citation brings you credibility and integrity, whereas, plagiarism can lead to monetary and physical punishments and even imprisonment.

As stated by the above mentioned definition plagiarism is to copy, use and present work done by another person without giving proper acknowledgment to the author. At times people do not realize that they are committing a serious intellectual offense – plagiarism. People can easily become victims of plagiarism simply by the way they use a published material; not acknowledging the author, no citations, no references etc.

In Latin, plagiarism means “to kidnap”. So plagiarism is basically to kidnap or steal someone’s ideas and work; which is a public dishonesty. Although plagiarism is not taken as a criminal offense but it can lead to adverse consequences. Claims of plagiarism come under Civil Law. In some cases of plagiarism people are blamed for misusing intellectual property, and violation of moral rights.

Plagiarism is also referred to as intellectual or literary theft, academic dishonesty, academic fraud, unfair competition, fraud and even stealing. However, there is a difference in intentional and unintentional plagiarism. Unintentional plagiarism mostly involves inadequate citation, carelessness towards references and no acknowledgments.

Whatever the case, both intentional and unintentional plagiarisms are considered as unethical acts. Whether it’s at school level, for university research, in journalistic content or in an online publication; plagiarism is highly discouraged.
